Whenever I speak in front of a class my voice trembles like crazy and my mouth gets really dry and my throat tightens up so I can barely speak. Even if I'm well prepared and all that this still happens. Help?

this is normal. just dont think about it and go up there and do wat u have to do. look at the back wall or look at objects in the class that way it seems like u are looking at the students. think positive thoughts and you'll be fine. ^.^

You're not alone that happens to a lot of people. The next time you have to speak in front of your class just remember that everyone else does too and i bet you that more than half of those people get nervous just like you. So if you think that way it should help you. If you really can't do it then just skip that class or take a valium lol.

This feeling happens to a lot of people. Before you get up to speak or even while you prepare your speech, try to relax. I'm taking a public speaking class now and relaxation is the key to having an effective speech.

Most of the time we are nervous because we think we are going to make a horrible mistake and people are going to laugh or talk about us.

Most of the time, if you are prepared, that won't happen. Plus you have to remember that they are in the same boat as you and a lot of them are probably just as nervous as you. As much as you think they might make fun or laugh if you make a mistake, they won't. Most of the time, they probably won't even notice if you do make a mistake. Try to remember that, take some deep breaths and good luck.

Alot of people are embarased to speak in front of their entire class! You should just look at one person you know. Don't think about the other people watching you.
