Ok, so I finally realized that I am in love with my best friend. I have asked him if he ever thought that we would be more than friends and he said no. But he acts like he likes me. But he always like the girls who turn around and break his heart and when this happens he always comes running back to me. What am I supossed to do? I want to be there for him but it's also like, "I told you so." He doesn't want the girl who will love him like he says he wants. When I talk about other guys he gets jeleous. But he always talks about other girls. What do I do?

For starters ask your self how old he is. This is reverent in the fact that females mature sooner than males. Then ask yourself if you have ever just spelled it out for him that you love him. Men can be kind of thick at times and can't take hints very well. If you're worried about his response if you do tell him ask your self if he's worth it. If he is remember that life is very short and you don't want to miss out on possible happiness because of fear.

This happens a lot of times with Best Friends, because you guys spent so much time together. If you say he gets jealous when you are around guys, he might like u, or he might be watching out for you. Anyway, the only way that you will know for sure, is by talking to him. Yea, i know, this sounds like a bad idea, but if you really want to know the truth, just talk to him..But be careful of what you say.
If you don't want to, as many people put it "ruin the friendship", then ur on your own. But try talking to him, its your best bet. And who knows, he might actually feel the same way..
And if my chance he does not, don't feel bad, Its ok,

I really think you need to sit down and talk with him about it. I'm not sure how old you are but if you are, like, 18 or older, I think you really need to discuss it with him. Offer to hang out with him a bit more, go out on a date or something. This also depends on how long you've been best friends with him. If it's any longer than a year then you two need to talk about it.
Find an opportune time, such as going to the movies and try to do all those things to get closer to him. See if that works. Hold his hand when you two are alone, see how he reacts to it. You never know.
Above all, if doing this affects your friendship adversely, don't do it. You have a good friend and should hang on to him.

If he's your 'best friend' you should be 'close enough' to sit down and have a 'real talk' about 'romantic things' ... one in which you can simply say that you think his 'choices of girlfriends' are wrong, and you hate seeing him 'hurt' ... and you should also point out that he doesn't like you to talk about 'guys' and gets jealous, and frankly, you don't really 'like it either,' but since you 'love him' and he doesn't seem to 'love you' in the same way, what else can you do?

chances are he DOES like you ...but men are creatures of habit . he's afraid to change things because he's afriad the entire dynamic would change . He would rathe not lose your friendship, whihc actually says more than anything . It means what he feels for you is more than superficial .
