a while now and now it's time for me to return. How do I do this?

"Return, faithless people; I will cure you of backsliding." Jeremiah 3:22a

(if you're looking for permission to come back) ----- ;)

The mere fact that you're asking this question tells me that you're under conviction. My suggestion: Simply obey, and submitt yourself to God.

He'll take care of the rest.
We all mess up from time to time.

The answer: Ask forgiveness. Repent. Seek His will, and obey.
(It's only a prayer away)

God Bless.

I tried to walk away from Christ . . . in fact I did, sort of. What I did not know was that Christ never walked away from me.

I fell real far down . . . drugs, alcohol, just self centered and foot loose . . . I found myself looking into anything and everything. I was 'open minded' . . . I was 'progressive'

One day Jesus paid me a visit . . . it was not 'in person' - it was in my spirit . . . he told me he was tired of my running away, and either I straighted up, or he would take me out.

It really got my attention

It took what it took for me to get back, and it was not easy, and I don't ever want to go through it again - one of the main things I had to do was get SOBER. I had to give it all up! not just pot, not just beer, all! It was hard . . . I was strung out.

Looking back it is a no-brainer . . . with out being sober I had no chance.

Gods Grace to You

I wouldn't say you have been lost, but just distanced yourself from Christ. All you have to do is tell Him you want to rededicate yourself to Him and He will welcome you back with open arms. In order for us to draw in closer, we need to treat Christ as if He were our best friend. Talk to Him as much as you can. Share with Him everything. Trust Him to do what He says He will do. When you slip, ask Him to forgive you and He will. Read your Bible as much as possible, because Christ is the Word. Try to place yourself with others who believe so you can encourage and support each other.

God has on no account lost a non secular conflict. confident, Jews and Christians have perservered in the process the centuries. yet via fact the bible says, people who settle for Christ would be those to acquire victory. There are evil religious forces at conflict each and all of the time with the solid ones, it rather is the way it rather is many times been. yet at last, devil and his followers are going to finally finally end up the place they belong, in hell. The religious conflict began centuries in the past, and bit with the aid of bit cults, pseudo-christian cults and different unusual ideals have sprouted up international. it rather is only the beginning up of what's to return. God gave human beings unfastened will, and in the event that they opt for to flow down the incorrect direction, then there'll be effects for that incorrect direction. interior the top instances there'll be a final conflict, and since the bible says, God would be positive, for he won't be able to be crushed. God has no longer forsaken us like many human beings have stated. that is people who've forsaken HIM, and now we face the outcomes on turning our backs on him. in assessment to many different religions, God has promised those human beings who customary Christ that we are going to stay with him continuously after our dying. I continually remember this one verse: Blessed are people who have faith, yet have not yet seen. it rather is all i choose. God gave us the the thank you to combat this religious conflict. We basically could use them.

It's only one step back. Spirituality is a journey, not a place that you inhabit. Begin the journey anew.

The only question is, why are you coming back to the lord? is it because you are desperate? or is it because you crave him spiritually? It should be because you crave him spiritually. try reading your Bible more and talking to him. your relationship will come back if you truly want it to.

You will always be lost if you don't learn to think for yourself. People who give into the "group think" are lost in my opinion. Let no one decieve you, not even me, the truth is found from within.

Though you take a thousand steps away from God, it is only one step back to Him. You must be broken for your sin and repent, confessing to Him, and you will be restored.

That's all there is to it.

"If we make it our habit to confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us those sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (I John 1:9)
