Bruce lee would win. Chuck Norris is good but I don't think he could beat Bruce Lee. Chuck Norris once said "Lee, pound for pound, might well have been one of the strongest men in the world, and certainly one of the quickest." For example Bruce Lee was so strong that with one of his side kicks he could tear a 150 pound bag in half, he once kicked a 300 pound bag so hard it hit the celling, and his average punch from an open palm to 24 inches in front of him was .04 seconds. Bruce Lee all the way!!
By the way why is Jet Li not mentioned, he also know many martial arts I believe 4 black belts. Just wondering but no one could take Lee.

Who is the only one that actually invented a style of fighting? That's right, Bruce Lee invented Jeet Kune Do. Chuck Norris is only famous because he can do some roundhouse kicks and people make jokes about him. I've seen video of Lee doing push ups on TWO fingers. No one could compare to that. Even in a movie, Bruce Lee beat Chuck Norris, and Bruce Lee taught Chuck Norris some moves behind the scenes. Bruce Lee was a great fighter as well as a great philosopher. Bruce Lee would win easily, with Chuck second and Van Damme at third. Segal is just a fake. Last place for him.

Segal. Segal had his own Akido School in Japan. Norris was ok, but he was a kickboxer. Not a very good style, Ultimate Fighting proved that. Van Damn is just a actor who streched his legs well. He cant fight at all. Chuck Zito beat him up with one punch. Bruce Lee is unproven. He never fought anyone. Matter of fact he left japan to teach in america. At that time the best was in japan, so why come here? In my opinion Segal was the best. A American owning a successful school in japan is unheard of.

I don't think we know enough about any of them(especially Bruce Lee), to really say. As for inventing an art/style, anybody can do that! I'd say that Van Damme would be last on the list; but I think that anybody would be crazy to mess with any of them.
Tournament? It wouldn't happen anyway; their styles are too different, although I'd say that Chuck Norris is the most well rounded martial artist; with experience in many styles. I think this is one of those unanswerable questions. If you think you know the answer; try again- this time don't think as a fan.

Now that is a hard decision. They all have different fighting styles and they are the best in their league. overall Lee is the Best, there is a tie for second with Van Dam who has power and Segal who has speed. I am not a fan of Norris thats why he is last on my list.

Norris hands down
Tang Soo Do champion ring fighter. Had Carlos Machado come live at the studio of Walker Texas Ranger with him so as to train in BJJ as well. Keep in mind he was already a good wrestler with proven wrestling skills.
I will always appreciate Bruce Lee's dedication, but hell Bruce never entered the ring against Norris intelligently. He would have been smeared.
Randori fits here as well. Chuck fought many years against opponents that had no intention of allowing him to succeed. Bruce never fought anyone in this manner continuously as Chuck did, if at all. He is as so many Kung Fu stylists, great as an actor, using an unproven fighting art in a controlled situation.
I know we will hear all the he could kill or maim again rheortic, eye gouging etc. he weighed 135, 165 at his max I believe. Imagine him fighting well lets say Dan Severn.........
Now Norris in my opinion would at least nail Dan a few good ones, maybe win, maybe.....
arggg Bluto wins the points here........ he replys to smart not fair....I can't think quick I have been hit in the head to many times.
I wanna be the answer king
I wanna poke eyes out and tear out hearts and watch someone else eat em, cause that's gotta be ugly.....

If leg checking is allowed, then Bruce Lee! He was a street fighter, one & two, he studied Muhammed Ali's fighting style. A tournament isn't all kicks, & we know Bruce had boxing skills. Combine that with knowing what works practically, and Bruce cleans house!!!

Chuck Norris would be second, then Steven Seagal, then Van Damme.

Not to offed anyone, but if you think any of the other fighters could compare to Bruce Lee, than you must know almost nothing about him. Bruce Lee was, quite possibly, the greatest martial artist in history to date. He was trained under chinese MASTERS, he fought many trained and untrained fighters. Bruce Lee did not grow up in a "nice" neighborhood, he has plenty of "real life" fighting experience. Point of fact, chinese, japanese, and even korean masters and grandmasters, around the WORLD, disliked, and even hated, Bruce Lee. This was because he was teaching all their secret and powerful moves to his students without them dedicating their first few years to simple training exercises. He was a threat to the old, over-traditional, ways of martial teaching, and was world renown and respected as the best. Chuck Norris would be lucky to have half, of Bruce Lee's skill.

The only fact is....... we will never have an accurate answer to this question. First of all what is the standard used to measure this ? Secondly, how do we measure this being that all in question are no longer in their prime ? Even some of the best Pride and UFC champs will win most and then lose some. Another consideration is that all of the above studied different styles, albeit very accomplished in their endeavors. Enjoy Life !

Bruce Lee was the only real fighter. Norris might be second, but Van Damme and Seagal were hacks.
