It is really quite low for a man to have such level of Hemoglobin, and indeed it is not right to give blood. It is not very low. You maybe had some bleeding as from wounds. The normal is 140-180 for male,120-140 for female. Try to eat liver, eggyolk, beef, green vegetables, etc. and have fruit juices with it to increase absorption. If it does not resolve then, you need a check up as it means it is not due to iron defeciency but could be something else as anemia has various possible causes.

Anemia or low hemoglobin level is a contra-indication in giving blood. If you are an adult, your blood iron or hemoglobin should at leas be above 12 to be considered as normal. Your 108 isn't very low but it needs management with iron supplements. You need to be worked-up to for its causes. A low blood iron predisposes you to illness. You easily gets tired, and your resistance to infection becomes lower.

In the event it's a fruit they have seeds, otherwise it's a vegetable. And vegetables are usually grown in the ground while fruits are grown in trees.

norm for men which is 14.0 to 18.0 gm / dl.

Your levels could be low because you have an ulcer, or you have a problem absorbing the iron that you are eating.
