Dove sensitive skin

I feel your pain! I have extremely sensitive skin and finding soap has been very challenging. Here is what I have discovered:

- Dove sensitive skin beauty bar is good, but if you are prone to acne its moisturizers make it unsuitable as a facial cleanser. This is the least expensive option but sometimes I still have problems when I use it.

- Pear's (http://www.thesoapopera.com/scgi-bin/scart.cgi/PEA-06831.php3?scartid=2282991) is a wonderful bar soap that has a light scent, but is not perfumed in a way that antagonizes skin.

- Neutrogena's simple bar soap for sensitive skin is a lot like the Pear's, and is more readily available. I am able to use this on my face.

-Purpose gentle cleansing bar is also similar to Pear's and Neutrogena. (All of these soaps are around $2.50-$3 a bar)

-Cetaphil is a very gentle liquid soap that is wonderful in the winter, when even oily skin gets dry patches. It leaves skin very soft, but not greasy. It is expensive ($8) for a large bottle, but the bottle last a long time.

- Natural or handmade soaps can still wreak havoc on your skin. Look for natural soaps that use pure virgin olive oil, which is very calming for the skin.

I hope this helps you!

Look in the baby products section. You will find mild lotions and soaps there too that are for sensitive skin and fragrance free.

Dove, sensitive skin or the original formula. The cucuber one smells good becuase it isn't loaded with perfume. Plus it keeps your skin nice and soft.

Neutragena markets a gel soap that is scent free and non-allergenic. It's expensive but excellent if you have eczema etc.
