Reminds me of a Curtis Mayfield lyric: "Another junkie plan ... "
Um, usually when a job requires drug testing, it's because they have legal reasons why drug users need to be excluded ... if this is for your job, then maybe you ought to be looking for a different career before you get yourself in a whole world of hurt.

Anyways, eating charcoal isn't very likely to help you fool the test. But it also isn't likely to cause cancer or poison you ... although I would guess it might not feel so hot as it gets compacted into briquettes in your colon.

I think a better approach might be to eat oatmeal. Really!

You've seen those ads for oatmeal as a 'heart healthy' food? The reason it is healthy is because oatmeal binds up bile salts in your intestine and causes them to be eliminated.

Under normal circumstances, your liver detoxifies complicated organic pollutants and drugs - including THC - by converting them into what are known as bile salts. These are released into the intestine, where they help digest fats. Usually when the bile salts reach the colon, they are reabsorbed and then put back into the bile by the liver again.

Oatmeal, however, binds the bile permanently and prevents its reabsorbtion = it is eliminated, and the liver can detoxify more organics/drugs, instead of recycling the old ones. Note: the bile has the highest concentrations of THC in the body, so the more stuff removes bile, the less THC stays around.

Thus, eating oatmeal will bind up the bile that is made from THC and allow the liver to clean more THC out of the blood, and therefore keep it out of the urine and away from those pesky drug tests.

(Of course, getting to the store and buying oatmeal, and then ccoking and eating it everyday, might involve more planning and initiative than a typical pothead can muster).

Hope this helps, but, man, if you are dodging drug tests because smoking dope is more important than keeping your job, or staying out of jail, or keeping your kids, or staying in school, or whatever else should be important in your life, then you are blowing it and you should be trying to find a way to quit instead of dodging, right?

Note the second to last sentence:

Distribution of 11-nor-9-carboxy-Delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol in traffic fatality cases.
Lin DL, Lin RL.

11-nor-9-carboxy-Delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC-COOH) distributions in postmortem specimens are rarely reported. Fifty New Jersey State Medical Examiner's cases in which automobile accident deaths suspected of involving marijuana intake were studied for the distributions of THC-COOH in postmortem urine, blood, vitreous humor, and bile specimens. Cases were selected based on immunoassay (TDx) urine test results. If the preliminary urine test indicated the presence of THC-COOH (apparent THC-COOH concentration > or = 20 ng/mL), urine, heart blood, vitreous humor, and bile specimens from the case were analyzed for THC-COOH concentrations by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The mean, standard deviation, and range of THC-COOH in heart blood, urine, and bile found in these 50 cases were 0.081, 0.082, and 0.016-0.33 microg/mL; 0.314, 0.415, and 0.044-2.33 microg/mL; and 12.9, 11.4, and 1.03-43.7 microg/mL, respectively. THC-COOH was absent (detection limit, 1 ng/mL) or at low concentration (< 10 ng/mL) in vitreous humor specimens. The mean, standard deviation, and range of the bile-to-blood and urine-to-blood ratios were 242, 196, and 17.2-888 and 4.70, 4.05, and 1.14-19.2, respectively. The highest concentrations of THC-COOH were found in bile and the lowest in vitreous humor. These findings are consistent with the high hydrophobicity nature of THC-COOH and further suggest that bile is the specimen of choice for detecting low level of THC-COOH in postmortem cases.

Taha good luck with that. TCH is stored in your fat cells, so you have to work out like Hulk Hogan to sweat it out of your fat cells, and drink enough water to flush it out of your system simultaneously. So techinically it is true that you can drink water but you have to exercize too. How much THC did you ingest? and how often? I have the book of laws here that says: One time use: 3-5 days till its out of your system (by doing nothing) Heavy use: 10-14 days (by doing nothing) Extremely heavy use: 20-35 days (by doing nothing) So i dunno i mean if your gonna get tested i would go to your local head shop and get that detox drink. other than that, hit the gym and sweat it out!

charcoal ground up and put in water and then drank... see activated charcoal. It is for ingested poisoning cases. So if the thc is in a brwnie and you drank it it would stop it from reaching the blood system.

No, charcoal won't help. Check out this website. It's got some tips you might find useful. It's the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. I don't do that stuff anymore but a couple of my friends swear by it.

Nothing will help except time. Expect it to take about 30 to 90 days.

If you don't put thc in your system, you don't have to worry about getting it out.
