Religion itself is on trial, like it or not. But what appears to be shaping up, in the not so distant future, is a face-off betweem Islam and civilization.

Islamic hordes spread Islam like wild fire right from its start, and now, being almost 1000 years younger, is poised to overtake Christianity, the merchant of "love your enemy", like a Lion upon a fawn.

Islam is predatorially adapted. It grows via shrewed breeding and violence doctrines. The massive oil wealth of Islamic countries has also purchased them a level of sophistication that has even finally created actual conversions via propaganda. Stuff like "the miracles of the Quran" propped up on literally hundreds of well-finanaced websites gives them an angle they have never had.

Muslim unity within free socities is so strong, that a mere 10-20% is enough for them to push elections or coup's their way.

The projections decidedly favor the Islamic horde...the good money is on them...Im afraid.

No. All religions go through moderate stages and stages where there is a level of extremism. Judaism had its extremist stage 3000 years ago, Christianity had one in the Middle Ages, Islam has one now.

You're painting Islam as intrinsically evil, and that's just not true. In the Middle Ages Europe was under repressive Christian theocracy, and Islamic societies were comparatively just and enlightened.

Christians, if Catholics and Protestants are lumped together, still outnumber Muslims 2:1. And in London we have around 9% Muslims, and no signs yet of any coups.

And why do you oppose people converting to Islam? No doubt you're in favour of conversions to Christianity.

Interesting argument, though rather flawed. Christianity spread quite a bit by the sword (the Americas anyone...), and Christian "hordes" are spreading Christianity to this day (ever answer your door to a Hare Krishna or Mormon...) All you are trying to do is whip up anti-Islamic feeling by scaring Christians.

And re: miracles of the Koran popping up on websites... ever see how many people show up when "Jesus" pops up on a cement underpass or in a bowl of spaghetti?

Civilization will be ended by a Christian/Islamic/Jewish fundamentalist with a nuclear weapon who will claim it was God's Will as he presses the button to kill us all.
