i am curious....because people DO eat brains, and it sounds weird, what does it taste like???

I backpacked Europe last year, and people most definitely do eat brain, and it's considered a delicacy. I tried it in France. It doesn't taste like anything I have ever tasted before, and I wouldn't say it tasted good. I am not really sure why it's considered a delicacy, maybe it's hard to come by. It was kind of tasteless. Oh yeah, if you want to be grossed out, find out what black pudding is!

Boiled lamb brains taste sweet and are very mushy in texture.
