I know they live simple, plain lives with no electric or modern conveniences; and dress very plain, but I'm talking about their doctrine. Thanks.

The Amish hold to a historical orthodox Christianity. They're Anabaptists, which means that they believe in adult baptism, as opposed to infant baptism.

They are strict separationists as well. Not only between church and state, but between themselves and the corrupt world.

Their simple lifestyle, coupled with a lack of modern conveniences, allow them to invest time with each other, something the rest of us could learn from.
