I have a really good friend at school who I really love but havent told her. I want to ask her out to the prom but we havent gone out and she has a boyfriend in college that I think she likes but they have had quiet a few problems which have recently been solved. Should I ask her out to the prom? Would it be alright if we went just as friends? I dont care at all about her boyfriend because I have heard of some of the problems they have had and I dont understand him. Just so you know what Im talking about, he ignored her phone calls but when we tried him on mine he answered.

have your friend ask her friend to ask her, then vise versa the answer, totally cool
