My friend told me not to trust in any supplements because it will cause loss of interest in sex, will have sagging skin and muscles, wrinkled skin that lacks good tone and texture.

Supplements can have both positive and negative effects. The main thing to remember is that ingredients in supplements -- herbs, minerals, etc. -- were actually our first drugs. They do act as drugs in our systems and should be approached with the same respect and caution as prescription drugs would be. With some supplements, you actually can take too much. For example, too much Vitamin A can be quite harmful. It's best to always consult your doctor before using supplements.

Supplements are like anything else that is good for you. You should use them in moderation. You just can't take too much. Chieromancer is right.

She could not be more wrong.

Unless you are taking bottles full of pill everyday, supplements will do no harm and can only help you.
