Your eyes would not naturally adapt and get normal. Myopia is caused by an "unnatural" eye shape that improperly focuses light before the retina. Glasses and contacts refocus the light, and surgery reshapes the eye.
Some experiments have been made using a pin hole device. Put pin holes in cardboard. Hold the cardboard over your eyes and look through the pin holes.
You may immediately see more clearly through the pin holes. Extended use is said to retrain the eye and improve myopic patients. I can't attest to this. I went the surgery route.

No, there is no "natural" way to reduce myopia. Myopia can only be slowed down. One technique that is used with children, is to give them a weaker perscription, which helps to make the eyes work harder. This technique is used with children that need glasses at a very young age. This technique doesn't stop myopia. Myopia is progressive. Most near sighted individuals can expect to eventually obtain bifocals.
If you are near sighted and you don't wear your glasses, your eyes will work harder in order for you to see things around you. But, it would be dangerous in a variety of circumstances, such as driving or working with heavy machinery. Laskik is generally suggested to individuals who are EXTREMLY near sighted, to the point near being legally blind--if one doesn't seek surgery for cosmetic purposes.

The gradual increase in myopia will happen whether you wear glasses or not. Some people will try to tell you that there are eye exercises you can do that will improve your vision, Many studies have shown that they don't work. You are in the same boat with most of the population, unfortunately.

You can improve your eyesight by simply learning, naturally and practicing the correct way to see for a few small minutes a day.
You can check this method based on a scientific researches : ( http://getyourvisionbacknow.keysolve.net )
If glasses are worn continuously over time the poor vision will generally become worse. Essentially what glasses do is lock the eyes into their refractive state and in order to see through your lenses you have to maintain the poor vision that the lenses are designed to correct.
"Restore my vision” program you'll be taken by the hand, it shows you how to improve your vision naturally, permanent and complete solution.
Even the American Optometric Association has been forced to admit these things! I'm sure that you will not regret your decision.

Other than squint I don't know you should reserach eye exercises to try and train your eyes. I don't think relaxing will work. No one has ever won an Olypic medal from relaxing on the couch.
