Mormons believe that God cursed Cain with black skin and a flat nose. However, the
“mark” was set upon Cain before the Flood. In that Flood all flesh perished except for Noah, his
wife, his three sons, and their wives. If the curse upon Cain was dark skin, the only way the race
could have survived was for Noah to be a direct descendent of Cain. However, Noah’s genealogy
didn’t come from Cain, but from Seth (Genesis 5:3,6–32).

why ask christians to explain what the mormons said?

the Bible does not say that skin color is a curse.
assuming that Adam and Eve, Seth, Noah, ect.. were white (thus not 'cursed') skinned is racist.
and saying that God cursed someone with a certain skin color is racist.

so
saying that God cursed someone with a certain color when the Bible doesnt say it.. is mormon.

The Bible tells us how the population that descended from Noah's family had one language and by living in one place were disobeying God's command to "fill the earth" (Genesis 9:1, 11:4). God confused their language, causing a break-up of the population into smaller groups which scattered over the earth (Genesis 11:8-9). Modern genetics show how, following such a break-up of a population, variations in skin color, for example, can develop in only a few generations. There is good evidence that the various people groups we have today have not been separated for huge periods of time

May God bless you

Good question!

I have NO IDEA how to answer except to say that God does miraculous things! That's the best I can give for now... I gotta run.

Oh, and just a side note... I use to always say that Cain was the first white person. Think about it... that would be a mark that all would see... white guy with freckles in the Middle East! But of course, that's just a fun theory!

But I doubt there is much truth to the Mormon version or mine! :)

Be blessed!

Well, that is a wrong teaching. It doesn't say that anywhere in the Holy Bible.

The Bible writes Cain had a mark.

Some have said that Noah's child Ham (Noah's second child) was black. Maybe he was. But it was Hams youngest that did some perverted sexual act to Grandpa Noah. Hams youngest is named Cain also. Noah had cursed Cain. That is the people Canaanites who was in the land of Canaan and did a lot of sexual abominations plus child sacrifices. The Canaanites were white people.

This predjudice of darker skinned is a Mormon belief, not a Christian belief. What about the Hutu's and Tutsi's. The Tutsi's were supposedly prettier & minority. The Hutu's were majority & jealous.

Friend, there's a difference between Mormons and Christians, despite what the Mormons tell you.

And you're right, the notion that black people are the cursed descendants of cain is ridiculous.

We all came from God, one way or another, belief has little to do with truth in most cases anyway. Using religious bigotry to cheap shot the faith of another, is the way most people justify their own inadequacies. A good Christian would turn the other cheek, but the blogbaba was never big on getting slapped. I don't want you to burn your cross, but Christ was black.

Christians and Mormons are two completely different things.

Dude, you're going to confuse yourself and give yourself a head ache if you keep trying to figure out logic and reason in fictional stories. You'll be like that retarded child playing with a broken yo-yo.
