Moving on delema....whats going on?

okay in my previous question
I asked if I should wait for a 16-year-old
or move in to a 15-year-old
people are telling me to move on
well I talked to the 15-year-old
and he said he likes me
but hes not ready for a relationship at the moment

heres the weird part

he hated me in 7th and 8th grade
and now this year he likes me
What happened?
