I asked this exact question before, but almost everyone who responded, some quite rudely I might add, thought I was talking about clothes. I'm not. I mean everything else ie. car seats, strollers, slings or other carriers, what kind of bed do you recommend? any other products I haven't listed are also welcome. Even if you just want to tell me what you hated. what exact brands did you like? why? Or, what brands did you find useless? why? I am 22 weeks pregnant and ready to start buying some of the early necessities. I am especially interested in what diapers everyone likes. What brand do you use and why do you use it? If you did use any other brands in the past, what made you switch? Also, what items did you find to be absolute life savers? Any advice on ANY baby products will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

For diapers I use Huggies hug flex because it causes less chafing between the thighs because of the narrower fit.

Strollers...I would not recommend one with hard plastic double wheels! (the rides too rough) get one with rubber wheels that are filled with air, also, think about buying a European type stroller that comes with a bassinet basket and then converts later on into a sitting stroller (I just find this system much more practical and useful).

My husband and I purchased a car seat that we can use right through our daughters toddler years, we found this to be more economical than purchasing and infant seat, baby seat then a booster seat.

Don't get too many wash clothes or receiving blankets - I still don;t know what to do with all the ones I have. And I never did figure out what to do with the receiving blankets.

I have one sling and one carrier, I use the snugly the most only because it's easier to put on and I haven't figured out how to use the cuddly wrap.
Toys - get a box from eBay,. they have tons of stuff in them and costs way less
I hope this helps you some, I'm a mother to a six month old and I still haven't figured it all out when it comes to baby stuff. And if I had the chance to start over, I would never have bought any receiving blankets, baby socks, and more than one package of wash clothes.

I'm not sure if you are in the US, but I think some of the brands here are similar in other places. Graco is a good brand for infant car seats. We have one called the Snugride and I think it is sold in Europe as the Auto Baby. Britax has some excellent car seats as well. Peg Perego makes a nice car seat, but it is really overpriced. I think this brand is Mama and Papas overseas.
As for brands to avoid, if you are in the US, I would run away from Evenflo car seats and strollers. They are hard to use and flimsy.
For strollers, Graco makes some that are nice, but a little bulky. Peg Perego has some really nice, lightweight ones. Chicco and Maclaren are also wonderful choices for strollers.
For all other baby stuff, except cribs, Graco and Fisher Price make some nice items.
For cribs, Babi Italia, Simmons and Bassett are excellent brands.
For carriers, the Baby Bjorn is really nice. If you think you might be more of a sling mama, there are some really nice ones to be found online.

I hope this helps some!

Depends. What are shipping rates? You do know about the knew law that is going into affect in the USA on the 9th right? I believe that would be of some concern to you, because these items that you would sell would have to pass all of the requirements this new law will be stating. Might be a good idea to look into it. Its the new resale law. If the shipping was low enough to still keep thr product under the store price and ebays also, it would most likely be a good idea.

I used pampers swaddler diapers when my son was born and I loved them. I also loved the the velcro swaddle made by Hippopautomas or something like that. He wouldn't sleep without it. It was easier then folding a blanket every time I put him dow. Good luck!
