The evening news just came out with the statistics about this: that the number 1 reason for death of children is improper installation of a car seat/booster seat. the car seat/booster seat should not move more than one inch when pulled. If you're not sure how to install (it is tricky and better to be safe than sorry) go to your local fire dept. or police dept. and have them show you how to install the seat. I did and ironically was in a car accident with my 18 month old within 1 week of the installation by our fire dept. she was fine, don't want to think of what would have happened had it not been installed properly... So buckle those little ones up!

Way too many!! Ask any ER doctor or highway patrolman who's scooped up the remains of an innocent child who's parents were to lazy to put them in their carseat. My dad is a retired cop and has stories that would make your toenails curl.

A lot and it's sad. My son's cousins are never strapped in, not even the 8 month old. To me thats just ignorant even if you are the best driver there is never a guarantee that someone won't hit you.

Way too many! But unfortunately alot of them die in car crashes and will never get to tell the story of their parents not keeping them as safe as was possible
