im 17 and there is this man im with that is 38 and he's not in his right mind what i mean by that is he is special and he wouldnt take no for an answer so i gave in and said ok but i cant say no w/o hurting his feelings so how do i tell him he's too old without telling him i dont like him. i need some help i dont believe i have enough strenghth to tell him.

You are going to have to be blunt. There's no way around it because he doesn't understand anything else. Be blunt, be firm and then say good bye and close the door.

He probably knows he is too old. Is there some way you can get away or maybe have him meet you with your parents to discuss things? I know your parents can help you out here if you let them. I know when I was 17 I did not want my parents to help me much, but it is a difficult situation and if you don't like it, you should call on them. The ability to say no is one of the most important ones you can have. The fact that you need to be clear with this person is equally important. If you don't find a way to say no now, it will only get harder. The fact is, you can't like everyone and some people you are going to have to say no to. I am not sure what your State laws are regarding this, but if you are below the age of consent, use that for sure.

well, i think you should sit him down and tell him that you really do like him, but you feel uncomfortable around him. you don't think your relationship is right.u want him to find someone his own age so she can make him happy. i mean think about it, by the time you're 20, he'll be 41 years old! do u really want to go through with that, dating an old man! okay, maybe not old, but he'll be much older than you and u have ur whole life ahead of u. u'll get a job and have a successful life, don't waste it on him. He's only holding u back. i really just think that u should tell him that u do like him, but u need to focus on ur life not on him, and u want him to be happy with someone his own age. just remember, u r in control of ur own life. no one can make u do or be in an uncomfortable relationship. only u can decide. good luck!!!

He needs to be in jail,what a perv,you gotta still be in high school.Looks like you have no choice but to hurt his feelins.He must be crazy if he won't take no for an answer.Let him know you're not feeling him,that he is not your type,that he will have to take no for an answer.If any other problems,tell him if he doesn't leave you alone you will call the cops,or put a restraining order against him

Tell him you found someone your own age and you think you should take a break... or juss tell him hey look ur too old and you can find someone closer to your own age that will love you back..i am too young to be in love you'll be juss wasting your time i would be lieing to you and myself

Tell him flat out that you think he is nice but that you are not interested in dating him. Or if you want, lie and say that your parents don't approve of you dating someone older.
