going on in the religion section, its quite unbelievable. someone asks a question and you give YOUR opinion and if you don't quote something from the bible, you get a thumb smacked on your head. They are allll so serious.whoever gets the most thumbs down for this question will get the 10 points.

It's because all these religious nutters are so insecure in their religion that they hate it when someone reminds them of the truth.

Deep down they know that religion is nonsense. They can't have gone through life without picking up a bit of education and thinking skills. And those thinking skills tell them that religion is cobblers....but that's not what they want to hear.

So everytime someone reminds them that the sky fairy doesn't exist, they retaliate in the only way they can.

They can't hit back with logical argument and reasoning because religious nonsense defies logic.....all that's left for them is a yahoo thumbs down...sad really.

Religious belief is a mental state recognised byFreud as a form of psychosis. Any mental condition is hugely difficult to gainsay, as experienced by those engaged in de-programming cult captives and brain-washed military personnel. Any person who has attempted a serious conversation with a Moonie will understand this. `Thumbs down` under these circumstances is simply a conditioned response, an automatic rebuttal of any opposing view. Fact, truth, common sense or logic, are secondary to any conditioned mindset that produces addictive behaviour, and induces automatic responses.

Because they are biased. They don't care about fact or what the books say. If you disagree with what they think, they are going to come after you. I'm just happy that I'm able to see both sides and try getting to the bottom of it. People shouldn't be so quick to judge.

so if you dont like the thumbs down,dont answer,its really that simple.Religion and faith really is THAT serious to some people.I think some people come on to this section of the site just to ridicule,and thats not on.
I myself am not religious per say,i do on the other hand believe in god,people are serious because its important to them,thats all.
