I am really into silverskin pickled onions at the moment and am wondering if there is a limit to the amount you can eat without making yourself sick. They are so yummy! They go with any sort of sandwich too!
Is it rude to eat lots? (In my own home for lunch) Or should you just stick to 3 or 4?

I just love pickled onions, however they are a natural laxative so I only eat up to 3 at a meal.

17 and three quarters. Be precise in your pickled onion eating. Eating more would be as distasteful as eating over 47 pomegranites or less than three yaks.

Haven't eaten them since I was a kid so can't remember the effects, but I know I could eat a dozen or so in one sitting. My only limit was how soon my mum told me off.

I love them too and nibble on them, I've even made them into sandwiches. I've never eaten enough to made me sick, but if I tried eating a whole jar, that might do it. I probably couldn't eat more than a dozen though.

The whole jar! As long as you're not planning on doing any kissing, or working up close to anyone for a while.

As many as your stomach can cope and if you get use to it...you might want to enter a onion eating contest.
