I'm a florist and I get that stuff on me all the time, eventually it will rub off, try keeping his face moisturized with baby lotion and then rubbing it gently with a towel, it may help, but I wouldn't irritate his skin with things like alcohol.

Try something oily that might trap the pollen. Like vegetable oil, olive oil, baby oil, maybe a makeup remover or cold cream. I used to work in greenhouse where we had these beautiful Stargazer lilies in pots and the children would go to the back of the greenhouse and come back out with orange/yellow noses(so did the adults for that matter!), how adorable!

Did you take a picture?

Yeah, that stuff is hard to get off. I would try putting vaseline or mineral oil on there for awhile and see if that softens it up. Just leave it on for a few minutes and then gently wipe it off. It will eventually come off anyway if that doesn't work. Good luck, hon!

The staining from the pollen will eventually wear off.

It will wear off. If you've washed it, I doubt it will irritate his skin. Just keep an eye on it. That is too cute, though.

Lily pollen is notorious for staining. It is not harmful, and will wash off eventually.
