I think I know but I want to make sure. I want to get into trail riding with my kids. One trail description says that its "technical terrain". Would I be more advised to skip that one until I do not have my kids?

yes, the terrain is harder to ride than an entry level path, there may be rocks, roots, drop offs etc that cause the terrain to be more 'technical'

The more technical the terrain, the harder it is to negotiate.

Many trails are harder than they look, so your idea to leave the kids at home is a smart one.

Yeah, you do have a problem. You seek out attention. This is a nice story though. Next time try starting it with "Dear Penthouse forum: I never thought this would happen to me, but there I was"
lol funny right!
thnx for the two points!

I think this is a term that depends on who's using it. I think it means trails that are hard to clear, so I think that maybe you should do it first and then take your kids if you see that it's doable for them. Although, I guess, when they're older THEY might decide to take you after they have gouged you can ride it ;)
