I bought this dog for my husband, and also bought it because I was having a baby and wanted the dog to be used to the baby.
Well I live in an aprtment that does not allow dogs and they said we have to get rid of it. We were hoping to move, but that isn't working as fast as we would like.
People have the misconception that dobermans are mean animals..which is totally untrue.
We purchased for 600 dollars, he has all his shots... he has akc papers and his ears are cropped. We are having a little tropuble getting his ears to stand...but if you can find a vet who know s about it would really help.
We live in Oshkosh wisconsin and are hoping to sell. We have invested a lot of time and love and want to see him go to a loving home
He has been raised with my 6, 3, and 5 month old children.. he is very loving. please let me know if you are interested in buying

ok so this was my first time buying a pet.. and yes i can admit that I made a mistake and should have made sure i had another place to live first.. I also didn't know that you couldn't sell stuff on here... I would be willing to give to a good home if i knew that the person would be good and kind to him. that is why i am trying to sell.. because I feel that people who are willing to pay for their pets will take better care of thier pets. Our dog is very well taken care of and very loved by eveyone in our house.... and why is it someone is always ready to attack another individual on yahoo answers. I don't understand.

a little piece of magic for those ears..Moleskin..Dr. Scholl's moleskin, for foot care and bunion pads, etc..
Cut a piece the size/shape of his ear (tad bit smaller) and it has adhesive that will adhere if ear is clean..It is stiff enough to make the ear stand..
there are two moleskins..you want the thickest one..Looks ok too, as it is flesh colored.
good luck in finding the right home.

Well, if you haven't received them by now, most likely you won't get them. Why didn't you get the proper paperwork when you took the pup home, that's what a normal person would do. In order to get AKC papers, the sire and dam would need to be registered and the "breeder" would have to register the litter. You won't get AKC registration papers, you'll get a litter registration which you send in to register the pup. Looks like you really FUBAR'd here. Will probably have to take her to court. Should have done some research before purchasing a pup. That's why you always check into it and be sure to buy from a reputable breeder with references. EDIT: CANDIE, you cannot just call AKC with the name of the parents and get the pup's registration. Gee, quit giving out false info. The parents must be registered and the breeder must register the litter. There is NO other way.

Not to be rude, but I need to state the obvious -

1. This is Yahoo Answers, not Craig's List. You're not allowed to post for sale ads here.

2. You should have never ever ever ever gotten a dog while living in an apartment that does not allow pets. You should have waited until you moved to a place that did allow both dogs as well as the specific breed you wanted.

Your breeder was being very irresponsible by allowing this dog to go to a home that does not allow dogs - he/she should have checked your living arrangements before selling you this dog.

3. If you got this dog from a responsible breeder (which I doubt since they let the dog go to an apartment that does not allow dogs...) you need to check your contract. The breeder may require you to return the dog to them rather than selling it.

OH wow, I am very sorry, it must hurt alot giving him away. I'm sure you can put up ads in the newspaper, or pennysaver, or on sites like puppyfind.com. Oh and I would absolutely love to have a Doberman but unfortunately time is not right and I cant have a dog at the moment. sorry ☺!
Sending you lots of luck,

What you should have invested in was patience and waited until you had this new home. Oh well, I'm sure the dog will understand. Sell him to the highest bidder.

Contact the breeder you got him from, maybe they can help you find a new home.
