long medium brown hair, big "sexy" (most men say) blue-green-gray eyes. I wear size 7 1/2 shoes. I have clear olive skin and full lips. Straight white teeth (I am proud of, took me six years to achieve them, wore braces) I am 18 years old.

I was happy with the way I looked until this girl said to me "You know you would have the perfect body if you only had bigger hips." Now I am so self consious. I have skinny legs. I am soo self consious please help! What to do? Thanks

Don't worry about her....you sound gorgeous. Olive skin and bright eyes is a wonderful combo. And if your really wanting hips...you will probably get them in a couple more years. I had no hips at 18 and by 21 I had some. Kinda annoying but that is what a woman looks like....at least a healthy one.

And why do you think she said that? Because she feels inadequate about her own body and in order to feel better about herself she has to down other people. It is just like the question "why do I get bullied". The answer is because some punk gets neglected by his dad at home and needs to make himself feel better by bullying smaller kids. I'm sure you are a very pretty girl there is no reason to take negative things that other people say about you to heart. If you live your whole life like that you will drive yourself insane. You need to be comfortable with yourself and how you look and then no matter what anyone else says it won't matter.

oh i get it. good news every one!!! what that girls says "DOESN'T MATTER!!". With everything you have going for you, if you are a sweet person you should have no problem finding someone, or being attractive. You would be a fool to think other wise. You seem intelligent where is all you confidence. I find it odd that only comment about you body would bother you so much. Be Strong brush it off like it is nothing, because it is nothing, you are beautiful and you know it and that is all that matters.

Stop basing your self worth upon your looks. While BOYS may like the way you look and you might seem attractive to MEN, real MEN want a woman with a brain as well. Looks don't keep a conversation going.

The way you describe yourself, you have nothing to worry about. Her statement probably stems from jealousy. Don't try to be someone you are not, just be happy with what you have...sounds like you have a lot going for yourself as you are. Good luck, and again, I am sure you are beautiful...don't stress this at all!

Errr...why are you letting a hater rain on you? You have nothing to worry about. There is no such thing as a perfect body. Even those girls you see in movies, tv, and magazines don't have perfect bodies. I'm sure you are not hurting for lack of companionship.

Tell that girl to mind her own f-ing business! Why let ONE stupid person's opinion send you into a tailspin. If others find you attractive then great. You need to have confidence in yourself and looks or else people will read it in you. And no, not everyone will find you attractive so you'll have to deal with that. But this one person's opinion should not matter SO much to you!

By your measurements and the way you describe yourself I don't think you need to do a thing about your hips. Maybe this girl can't look as good as you so I would call it jealousy

Start weight/strength training at the gym, focusing on your legs. Use the leg machines, like leg press, leg curl and leg extension. It's up to you to improve your body, and it's healthy too. Plus it will make you feel great.
