TECHNICALLY, mixing energy drinks and alcoholic beverages together can be potentially dangerous because energy drinks are considered "uppers" and alcohol is considered a "downer."
I've personally never heard of a specific incident where anyone has ever had a problem with this. Supposedly drinking too much straight Red Bull can give you a heart attack, but its some ungodly amount like 36 cans.
If you drink a reasonable amount of alcohol/energy drink mixes you should be fine. One of my personal favorite drinks is a Jager-Bomb (Jagermeister and Red Bull) and I have easily had 6+ in a single night... no harm done.

it's bad if you have a few though 1 isn't good either
The amount of caffeine in energy drinks stimulates you since the caffeine is absorbed quicker than the alcohol
When the alcohol hits you, you crash. And when I say crash, I mean you go from 100-0 in no time. If you've had a few of those drinks, the results include heart attack, respiratory problems, and other bad things you'd be better off without
moral of the story: pass on the energy drinks

Yes it is really bad. People do it and supposedly a big rush but not good. For one thing Alcohol makes you go to the bathroom, straight through you, and the energy drink makes things worse there. It will be an ultimate crash as well. Alcohol is a depressent. Think about coming down from a high when you are already being pushed down.

Well I knoe I won't do it, I won't mix liquor with anything other than maybe a few olives. Mixers don't sit too well with me.
I have ssat at the bar and seen a line if people comming up and doing jager bombs, half a glass of red bull and drop the shot of jagger in and chug, never heard anyone having any problem with them. It is probably the most popular drink in this area.

its only bad if you exceed the recommended daily dosage as its not good to overload you body with vitamins, however vitamin c is ok because your body can't store it, but I recommend that you dont mix liquor and energy drinks as once you have a couple or so you loose your judgement skills and are likely to have more than you recommended dosage

I always thought it was bad although I see people doing it all the time. Alcohol is a downer and lowers your heart rate, while caffeine is an upper and raises your heart rate. To have both of those things going on at the same time doesn't seem kosher to me.

I do'nt think it sgood for you, but not too horrible. I can see if you slam like 10 of those, some problems coming up.
Personally, i can't handle it. Stimulant and a depressant....body is going 2 ways at once. I get the spins and puke.

Energy drinks have a lot of caffein and when mixed with alcohol distilled from grapes (Brandy, cognac, liqueurs, wines) it can push up your blood pressure too high. Rum may also be a problem for its high sugar content. So, if you are prone to high blood pressure avoid it.

I would expect that it is something less than the best thing you can do to your body, though I claim no credentials on this.
I can assure you however, that with respect to taste the result is always bad.

You're mixing a depressant with a sitmulant, and yes it is bad for you. People do it all the time, but I don't kow if you should take solace in that.
