Whatever you do, do not feed her any more table scraps - all you will do is make her a fat, picky eater. As long as you are feeding her a high quality dog food, she won't starve if she misses a couple of meals. Talk to the breeder. The puppy should have been started on solid food before they took her off the Mom. Feed the puppy the same food that they were feeding.
Depending on her age, she should probably be eating 3 times a day. Put her food down and if she doesn't eat it in about 15 minutes, pick it up and put it back in the container. Do not coax her to eat or add anything to her food to make her eat it - unless you want to have to do it at every meal from here on out. She'll eat when she gets hungry.
My dogs miss meals every once and awhile, do not worry about it.

Don't give her table food! if you just received her its going to take a while for her to adapt to her new home. she might start having fevers a lot and all she wants to do is sleep. she probably wont start eating until about a couple days after you got her. The same exact thing happened to my puppy. the best thing to do is to hand feed her, HER FOOD. if she doesn't want it then put it in her mouth and force her. because she wont live without food in her tummy. and human food isn't good for her and can give her worms + she wont ever eat dog food. oh and if you are going to switch her to a different kind of food try mixing some of the old food with the new food so she wont have dierea good luck

are you feeding her dry or wet food? if it's dry, try mixing in a bit of warm water with it. Sometimes dogs just don't like the texture of dry food, and the water will help bring out the food's smell a bit, hopefully enticing her to eat it. If that doesn't help, pet stores usually sell a product called "Nutristat" (a doggy gel-based vitamin supplement), what you want to do with that is put a little bit of it on your fingertip, and then let her lick it off, or put it on the inside of the roof of her mouth. Not only is it a dietary supplement, but it acts as a puppy "pick-me-up" and might make her appetite a bit more voracious, so that she's likely to eat what you give her. If none of this works, you need to get your dog to a vet right away, as this could be a bit more serious than just "picky eater syndrome".

Im not a professional dog trainer but i have had dogs all my life. Put a bowl of food down for her and just keep an eye on her. I am of the belief that if a dog is hungry it will eat. I dont believe in taking a dogs food away if it doesn't eat right away. I have never seen an animal starve itself. Like the one person said she is probably scared and getting used to her surroundings. All dogs go thru this when put into a new environment. Oh yeah......i would rather have an obese dog then a skinny sick looking one....lol

Have you had your dog checked by a veterinarian to rule out any medical causes for her refusal to eat?
If so and there is no medical reason, try this:
1. Find out what she was fed prior to getting her. Purchase that brand and type of food and then slowly switch over to something else.
2. Try a different brand of food.
3. Try microwaving the food for a half minute before feeding her so that it smells stronger - sometimes dogs are more likely to eat food that has a strong smell.
4. Add a little bit of water to the food to create a "gravy", or add a little bit of plain beef broth or brown beef gravy to the food.

Try giving her some soft dog food that has a flavor like turkey and if that dont work then you will have to give her some table food and mix it with dog food and jus wein her off of the table food but my dogs eat some of our scapes after we get through eating our dinner. There is nothing wrong with them. But I wouldnt do that everyday...

With any dog you have to give them time to adjust to you and their new surroundings..It not uncommon for a puppy or dog not to eat for a couple of days...Get an appropriate dog crate put some bedding in for the dog and put him in it in a quite place, with the crate door opened and away from foot traffic and noise..check on him periodocally and talk to him without picking him up, then leave...He simply has to get used to you and matter around him..Dont worry, he will eat later when he feels like it when he feels safe and comfortable.

You might have to take her to the vet (most likely not). I think she might just be getting used to her surroundings. If she doesn't eat in 4-7 days go to the vet.
