This will most likely be for a Mitsubishi Eclipse but that isn't for sure. I always find websites for high current aftermarket alternators for GM or other domestic vehicles, but all I find for import cars is OEM replacement alternators. Any ideas? Need for car stereo.

I hear ya. It's hard to find them. I have spent hours googling the subject matter to very few choices.

I found this for some imports, but unfortunately not yours:

Check on Ebay. Otherwise find a stinger dealer they make a variety of high out-put alternators. Good luck, like sparky said they are hard to find.

I currently use a 200 amp Iraggi alternator. He offers great service and the only thing I would ever buy from ebay. Also check High Output (HO) alternators as well.

4alterstart.com has them for Mitsubishi Eclipse. We bought a 150A one from them for a 95 Eclipse GST. If for some reason you can't find it on the website then just call them.

the alt will pull it. the only time you'll be able to notice any substitute is once you load the alt with ac on, blower on extreme , and head lights on. it could make the lights flash. it might recommend having a 2nd battery put in s you have a secondary source of potential for once you're idleing.
