No...Sometimes in life we all suffer a down fall...Remember we are inperfect..So help is at hand even though some off us don't like to admit it..Even though u could ask yourself do you trust your Doc...How do we know he/she ain't got problems themselves?? Were all human and your friend was probably in a bad state of mind or ignorant to society..

Do NOT stop taking your med cold turkey. It's dangerous, so just don't go there. Okay? Doctors or therapists are like anyone else. There are good ones, and there are bad ones. Sounds like you've got some bad ones. So find a new one. A new clinic, a new hospital, even a new town if necessary. Get someone else to work with you. There are hundreds of medications to treat depression and anxiety disorders. You might not be taking the right ones, or the right amounts. It might take more than one medication at the same time to do the trick. If you truly feel like you are being abused by the people around you, don't be around them. Call the police or the welfare office, and file a report. Just because you have a medical condition doesn't mean that you have to be abused, or ignored. Fight for yourself. Be strong.

Don't pay her any attention...there's absolutely nothing wrong with a normal person going to the psychologist.
You shouldn't call those who go to a psychologist "abnormal"...that's just not right.

Don't ever be ashamed that you have gone there. The only "normal" is that we all have difficulties, different ways of dealing with things. Nobody was handed a handbook for life and mental-wellness isn't a top priority with a lot of folks. The search for helpful tools on how to deal with life is a courageous act, for it means that you admit that there might be something useful out there other than what you already know.

There is nothing wrong with it. I went to one when I was pregnant and I was having a lot of problems with my employer. I needed someone to talk to to help me cope with the hostile environment I was working in to protect my child. Sometimes people just need to talk to someone who doesn't know them. And, don't worry about what your friend says.

There's nothing wrong whatsoever. It just so happens that that's the type of professional that gives the test you need to verify your dyslexia. However, your friend needs to go and focus on sensitivity training!!
