I had a baby two months ago, I have been very commited to my workouts, atleast a half hour a day, sometimes I can not do the whole thing at once usually 10 min kickboxing and 10 min abs in the morning, and 10 min cardio at night. Is this still going to effective or should it all be done at once.?

newest research says it doesn't matter whether you do it all in one fell swoop or in installments throughout the day. i tend to think for myself, going 10 minutes 3 times throughout the day works much better to curb my appetite and keep up my metabolism, than when I do one hard-core workout at one time of the day. i don't know if that's proven true but it sure works better for me!

Ideally, you should do at least 30 minutes continously, to bild resistance and endurance. However, 3*10 minutes is better than nothing, and if you do it to tone up, it will be efficient, so keep up the good work.
If you can, take the baby for a walk, to get some longer cardio work out, but if you can't you're still doing great.

I've heard conflicting studies on this. One says it takes at least 15-20 minutes of cardio before your body kicks into fat-burning mode, another says a little here and there is just as effective. I think if that's the only way you can get it in, go for it!

I have heard that you burn the most calories in the first 15-30 mins of a workout...any more than that and your body doesn't burn as much. So I would say you are doing just fine.
