After I had my wisdom teeth out (all four), I had to wait about two weeks before I could chew gum. I recommend asking your dentist for an exact time frame, but you have to be really careful after getting your wisdom teeth out. If you try to chew too early, you can get an infection. And I know you're probably already aware of this, but you really shouldn't chew tobacco. It's a real turn-off to girls, but more importantly, it'll lead to mouth cancer, which in turn can spread to other parts of your body and can kill you (and cancer is not a fun way to go).

If you are talking about right after an extraction then the answer is no. this will cause the area to bleed more and it will not heal properly it doen't matter which side you chew it on. if the wisdom teeth have been out for more than four days you should be almost back to normal and do whatyou normally do

No, you need to wait a while until the gums heal and longer bleed. You do not want tobacco stuck to the exposed gums. It could increase chances of gum cancer or irritate the gums ever worse. Call your dentist and ask him/her how long you should wait.
If I can recommend one thing is that you quit chewing tobacco it can lead to mouth cancer, gum cancer, tongue cancer and throat cancer.

No, its a bad idea. All that muck can easily infect the wound. I am a smoker and had to do without cigarrettes for a while during recovery. Get a patch if you have to.

you can but make sure its on the opposite side where you had your tooth pulled but I would wait a while, you don't want an air socket to set in, because then that is painful.
