if u want to lose weight u should definitely keep doing ur workouts, just cut ur meal sizes in half. the amount u should eat per meal is actually just the size of ur fist, I know it may be hard to believe. u should have small healthy snacks between meals, eat a good breakfast, and NOT starve yourself. eat things like salads, and lots of fruits and veggies. i suggest before a meal eat a few veggies so u dont eat to much during the meal. do the same before a party where u know there will be lots of junk food. dont take diet pills or anything, they are harmful. u are right about pop, its a definite NO. basically cut back on deserts and chips and candy and chocolate and soda and junk like that. u want to stick to the fruits and veggies. dont eat too much meat; too much animal fat can cause u to gain more unwanted pounds.

Hi, I'm on a diet plan and so far I've lost 17lb, I just started a support group where I'm posting the different plans and recipes.

If you click on the link below and then in PHASE # 1 -- NO CARBS you will see the very first plan, i'm about to leave phase # 2 but haven't had time to post it yet. I will keep posting important info for the rest of the group, you're more than welcome to join or to just to check out the different diets & recipes we are working on.

In this diet you can actually consume alcohol, it's pretty simple.

Thanks!!

P.S. I'm not trying to sell anything, I'm just looking around for more people to share my diet and experiences with. Also, it's always nice to have some support and hear what has worked for others.

You want to eat foods that have a low glycemic index. This means whole grain breads, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, lean meats, lots of raw fruit and veggies. It's not so much about calories as it is about what kind of food you eat. You can get a book that gives you the glycemic index of most foods and see what you should choose. Some good rules are to stay away from processed foods as much as possible, and when you eat, have twice as much fruit and vegetables as meat or grain based food. I have lost about 50 lbs doing this and it's pretty painless. Zone perfect bars are good to snack on.

Stay away from sugar and white flour, i.e. sweets, pasta, white bread, white rice, etc.... Eat LOTS of protein & veggies.

Do some strength training and try to stick to an 1800 calorie diet.

Good luck!

Don't eat anything thats already prepared. Preprocessed food it the most fattening and bad for you. Try to stick to things that you can make yourself. This means no fast food, no candy, hot pockets, frozen dinners, canned anything...Small portions of course. You will loose wieght fast because of your size. Good luck to you.

You should eat less. You should not eat more.

Keep doing this until you start losing weight. It's very simple, burn more calories than you take in, and you will lose weight.
