That should be up to her they are her real parents!

this is a toughy, on one hand you have a child with the right to know her history on the other you have that childs parents who made a concious decision to adopt her out for what ever reason and they may not want to be contacted. i was brought up in a step family where until i was 10 thought my dad was my dad now i am 30 and to be totally honest i have no intrest in seeing the person who is on the birth cert. he wasn't there when i had the mumps, a cold, had my heart broken, taught me to drive...this maybe how your child will see you compared to her "birth" parents. she may want to know her history for medical reasons or whatever but i say as long as she knows the truth, you never deny her the ability an support to search for these people i think she will grow into a well ajusted young woman with respect and love for the people that GAVE her a life. not just allowed air into her lungs.
good luck

Only if she is comfortable with it. I was adopted and my mom left if in my hands if I wanted to find my birthmom. I did at age 23.
Personally I think you should wait a couple more years but if you both are comfortable with it then go for it. I wish you 2 the best!

I mean if your daughter already know she's adopted well you should leave it up to her. Only she can decide if she wants to meet them now or later on. You should ask her. If by any chance she wants to meet them, then you should look for them no matter what. She deserves to know who they are and her biological parents also. Good luck

I was adopted... and I appreciate now that my adopted parents left the decision entirely up to me. When I was ready... I asked to meet my mom. It needs to be on HER time.

If she wants to it would be nice if she has your consent, help and support.
