Oh my god! That has got to be the longest answer i have ever seen on Yahoo answers! In answer to the question though, if mohammed did indeed sleep with 9 year old girls (wouldn't surprise me) then it would, by todays standards, and to us, make him a pedophile.

We, Muslims, are really fed up with those "cliché". If you really want to know about our Prophet, Mohamed, you can just read an Islamic History book, and if you are really honnest, your opinion about Mohamed would be a very positive one. See what were Karen Amstrong's (a writter) and Lamartine's (a french poet, though not a convert) opinions.

In that day and age, every girl was married off young. Most of the men in the bible probably had child brides. Hell, wasn't Mary something like 14?

Marie Antoinette married also at 14 and she was a Queen 800 years after ----that was the normal age back then --as long as she reached puberty
