I mean, like is it the house you wish your kids were growing up in or do wish it was different?

Currently, I live in a small apartment. But I hate it! It's not "home" to me. My husband and I will be moving soon to something bigger (considering we are having a baby, and need more room!) But I can't wait to have a place I love to come home to!

Where kids are concerned, home is what you make of it. It's okay to want something better, but the key is to make sure that its a happy environment. I live in a tiny, tiny home with my toddler and you can barely breath in here sometimes. But he doesnt know any different, and I always keep a thought in the back of my mind that someday we'll have more space. That's my goal. When I was a toddler, my mom and I lived in a small duplex. I had such fond memories of it that I looked in the same neighborhood for a place to live. I was shocked to find out what a dump that place was and what a scary neighborhood.

I like our home, if it would only be a little bigger I would probably love it. I wish it were somewhat different, but since its our first house ever, I'm satisfied. One day, I hope to have the house of my dreams!

Taking into account that I travel a lot, I don't need a tradional home, but my husband still went ahead and splurged on a house. It's nice to have a bed to sleep in and a place to display my art, but I don't really care about it.

It's a slow go, but I am getting there. Eventually, I will have the home I will want to come home to.

Of course it would be nice to have something bigger and better, but my house is home. It's an older home built in the 1940s, but i've made it nice and homey.
I love to come home to it.
