is it true that u dont have to do the drive test if u r 18 or older? thanks.

Sorry, but you will have to take the drive test in Oregon, even if you are over 18, UNLESS you have a license from another state already. If you have another license to turn in, then you are exempt from that part. There is a web site that will tell you everything you need to get an Oregon license:

If you have a valid license from another state, you simply go into the office and take the written exam. If you let your current license expire, then you have to take both written and driving. If your license is suspended in another state, you will be denied, you cannot get a license anywhere if you are suspended.
