Why do you think they are dangerous?
I've been using them for 45 years and nothing has happened yet.

Oven mitts can never be dangerous. Its the person who uses them that is dangerous. Either to himself to others. People hurt people. Inanimate abjects can not never hurt any one. Its the user that's is dangerous.

it makes it dangerous if you leave them near fire or something that is extremely hott!! so dont do that!
