I am 20 and I have been on alot of dates, but lets not talk about me.you should try asking for the # first than the date .the phone number always gives you the chance to see what she it about what she like ,and what she knows. That will give you the time to figure out were to take her, because you know a little bit about her

love to talk but I have to run .Tia philly

If you ask a girl for her phone number its because you want to talk to her again and ask her out on a date.

Believe it or not there was a time when there were no mobile phones, internet, or email or instant messaging.

So if you were out with friends and you met someone you liked you ask her for her phone number. I suppose you could get her mail, or messanger address. :)

well.. when you ask for a girls phone number you are normally implying that you will be calling her up and asking her to go on a date or meet up somewhere so you guys can get to know each other better..

Ask them to 'hang out' with you, then if they say yes you can say, 'oh okay cool, yeah, so can I have your phone number so I can call you with plans..." etc. There are lots of ways to do it.

Just go up to them and say, "We should hang (out) some time, I think it'd be cool." Many a guys have used that one, it's simple and direct and there's no, "Wait, WHAT DID YOU SAY?" kind of confusion.
