Sorry but you cannot dig half a hole....once theres a hole in the ground its a hole ! good one though.

Simple, the answer is two days. If it takes 1 day for 2 men to dig half of a hole, then it should take 2 days for 4 men to do the same thing. Here's the ratio for representation: 1 day : 2 men= 2 days: 4 men.

If it takes a threesome of four men three weeks to walk a fortnight, how many apples are in a barrel of grapes?

Yup its a trick question, usless you added details on how big the hole was, you can't dig half a hole cuz once you start digging its already a hole.
