beings in a physical realm to suffer for the duration of their life, only to judge them, and those that did a good job suffering get to go to heaven to worship him, while those who didnt go to hell to suffer more.
does that seem like an extremely stupid concept to anyone else?

Why would anyone have kids just to make them grow up, deal with bullies, scrape their knees, and then have to come back and honor their parents at their 60th birthday party? Or even worse not give birthday cake to the kids who didn't want to come? Parents are jerks! (tongue very far in cheek here).

God created mankind to be His family. Man fell into sin and since then we live in a fallen world, not perfect. We all suffer but God can help us through those hard times when we put our trust in Him. It is not a stupid concept to me because I believe that God is good and faithful to those who love Him. Many people reject the love of God and He will not force anything upon a person. But then that person has to accept the consequences of rejecting God.

Because God didn't do that. What would be the point? Ego? Nah, God isn't egotistical. Or could it have been that Man made that up to keep other Men in line. Hmmmmm.......
I believe in God, I just don't believe in a God that is vengeful and has an ego.

asking this about God is like asking French Fries about their being fried and ate, or like making a claymation man and flattening his nose to one side or something. It isn't up to us, we belong to him, he can do anything he wants. We are the created not the creator.
