Don't worry it is quite natural to feel confused, and to have a change in attitude after someone close dies. It usually is a change for the better, eventually. We can have different sometimes opposing feelings and this is always confusing until we realise it is valid to feel either of those ways in different situations. A person can be angry with the person who died, or God or themselves and it doesn't make sense to them but do realise that it is okay to feel anger that the person you care about is not with you now. (Or any other type of feeling). If you remain anxious then perhaps have a session with someone who either is trained in bereavement counselling or who has had a close loss. Most people ask if they are going mad. It is just such a sudden and dramatic change in your priorities. Lets face it, your friend is far more important than cellulite. But previously you weren't comparing the two. Being understood helps!

Well, I don't define "enlightenment" as self-realization since we Buddhists don't believe that there is any inherently existing, findable "self" in the first place, however, study of the Dharma, meditating (including analytical meditation), altruism and cultivating wisdom are the keys to the path to Buddhist enlightenment.

A euphoric experience alone on a mountain top during a beautiful sunrise/sunset. Taking care of your body from the inside out is essential as well. Eat healthy and remember to drink more than plenty of water. And even though I personally don't exercise as often as I should... I hear that people who exercise regularly are happy people.

Meditation, a certain level of self denial, study, thought, conversations with those who have already gone a certain distance down the road, logic, reason.

All of these are importaint. You can't use only one.

The answer is different for everyone. I found it in The Tao of Pooh (and the Tao Te Ching). A non-denominational book.

depends who you are, your personality, but the amplification of your vibration is what's goin on with that. constant practice of what resonates w/ your entire being is the most important thing.
