is not that guys LIKE women to ask them out. Guys don't dare to make the first move b/c they don't want to get turned down. That's cool that you're old fashioned but nowadays is not a big deal to see girls asking guys out, but I do agree with you "I believe if he doesn't ask me out then he isn't interested!" yeah if is shy he still should ask you out. b/c when a shy guys does that it means that he really likes you. I know this because I did the same thing and after I did that I was proud that I asked b/c I knew the truth instead of wondering. Afterthat I got over the fear of getting turned down.

I've never been that old fashioned. I have always been the type that if I wanted to get to know a guy better I wouldn't wait for him to ask me out. That is just too much of a waste of time for me. If I waited around for some guy to ask me out, we go out and I find I can't stand him then I've wasted all that time waiting for him to ask me out when I could have been going out with someone I found more interesting.

I can't tell you how many answers I've given today that have essentially amounted to the girl starting up with the guy. YES we love that you're interested. NO, we will rarely shoot you down or make you feel like *** for asking. Listen, there is nothing wrong with going after what you want. Regardless of gender. Seriously, do this, you won't regret it. YEAH OF COURSE IT IS.....I think us gurls are all like that old fashioned... But Id say if youve got the guts for asking a guy out GO FOR IT! Hardout! I admire chicks who can ask a dude out cause I most certainly cannot I wish I could tho. I think some guys like it but i think they prefer to ask us out hehe

Nowadays I don't find anything wrong with woman asking a guy out.I just had a friend approach a guy,and she gave him her number and he called her and they are going to be going out on a date.He was shy to but if my friend never approach him she wouldn't know that he liked her.So I say go for it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you may be surprised by his reaction,he may feel that you liked him enough to ask him out.Half the time we wait for guys to ask us out and they don't and then someone else ends up with the guy you really liked.So if you step up and ask him,you won't leave room for anyone else to step in.Good luck
