can't replace something that doesn't exist

science just proves that there is a god, you can hit me with as many matematical laws, laws of physics, DNA and the such, but at the end of the day they are all just the rules that god made so that the world will work they way it should. he hasnt got time to create every last blade of grass on this planet everyday, hes making stars implode etc. its like the world is a big pc, and science is the programmes god put on it so itll do its job right.
physics breaks down the closer you get to the big bang, and is replaced by a totally different set of rules, quantum physics, but even that cant explain the big bang. why? because god started it off, set up the rules, sat back and whatched how it panned out.

The universe has worked the same way since it came into being billions of years ago. Science is the practice of learning to understand the way the universe works.

Your god has had followers for a maximum, going by absurdly inaccurate biblical measurements, of 12,000 years.

So to answer your question, god was created to replace science, because god is an easy concept to grasp and science takes brains.

It isn't. People want to ask questions about God and religion in general, and the alternative is science, where they get a valid answer, thereby not needing a God at all, so it is people replacing God with, dare i say it, science and common logic.

Yes, people use to turn God for answers about the world, but now people use science to answer question about the world. This is happening because science gives more accurate answers than God does.

Science is replacing god. It isn't trying to do anything. Every question answered by science is one less for the mystics. Too bad!

Science has no interest in god. Science is about asking questions and finding answers to those questions.

Religion is about controlling the masses through fear. A major part of this is to discourage the masses from asking question.

In short Science has questions and wants answers.
Religion has no answers and wants to hide questions.

NO! it's about knowledge, as of facts or principles..Knowledge gained by systematic study or a particular branch of knowledge. Natural sciences, which study natural phenomena, including biological life; Social sciences, which study human behavior and societies .These fields are empirical sciences, which means the knowledge must be based on observable phenomena and capable of being tested for its validity by other researchers working under the same conditions.God is different for everyone and cannot be proved or disproved-

No: science is attempting to find answers. Understandably, when an answer is found one can no longer just say "the omnipotent being did it for no reason".

Science isn't against the idea of God: the idea of God just suffers collateral damage.

Science is LOGIC. It is best thought of as an EXPRESSION for reasoned thought processes, with verifiable answers and probabilities. It is NOT a secret society. It is not interested in God.

Science is trying to do away with God. It is like they are little scared children at night, in bed. They want to cover their heads under the blanket and tell themselves that there is not a monster coming out from under the bed to get them and if they are covered up, he will not exist. It is also a political thing, for dictators can't control the population if there is a God, so they are slowly brainwashing kids through schools to not believe in Deity, so the dictatorial party will someday take over and become a one-world-government. How is that for a 'conspiracy theory'?
