Of course! That would only mean more souls controlled by the catholic church in fear of going to purgatory w/o the ability to leave.

More money, more control, more catholic "churches", more golden rings for "his holiness".

Pathetic.

Personally, I wouldn't bow down and I would spit a nice loogie unto his ring.

Uh, all I see is reactionary, conspiracy-theorist, "let's make people panic" propaganda.

If the Vatican ever says that we don't need Jesus or that the scriptures are dangerous, I will be the first to lead the charge against them. But since that's not likely to happen, I think I can leave my weapons at home.

Of course I can believe it. The Holy Inquisition, the pope blessing Hitler on setting off in his campaign, and a thousand other crimes the Vatican is responsible for, I cannot be shocked therefore when they state that we don't need Jesus. But scriptures from the Bible have always been a threat to them. The Bible exposes them for what they truly are. Back in the day, the Holy Roman Church would burn anyone who had a bible in the house! that is how bad it was! The Beast has been rearing it's ugly head for centuries now.

That site was made by the SDA which is very Anti Catholic and will accuse the Church of most ridiculous things, it is wrong, the Catholic Church is not the Anti Christ and we do read the Bible and we do believe in and need Jesus in our lives

May God bless you

It is customary for the guest to bow and kiss his ring. It has been done since the beginning of the Christian/Catholic church because it is a show of respect and support for the church. It means nothing else but respect to the highest person in all of Christiandom

The Vatican never said that. Do you think that with the attention Catholicism gets that the media wouldn't have publicized this? The pope was saying bible and traditions are important, he wasn't dismissing Jesus. The Catholic Church was the first Christian Church! Learn more and stop visiting those anti-Catholic websites, they will rot your brain.

I've been to the site.
Yes I believe that the Vatican did say that.
I have known that for a very long time before visiting the site.
If you search you will find more interesting info on the Catholic church.

Yes, I can believe it. They don't need Jesus because they have their own "savior", Mary. And since the Pope claims to be god on this earth, why would they want any other god. But it is for this very reason that catholics need to turn to Jesus before they are completely deceived.
