It depends, those that feel nothing would rather feel pain, those that feel pain would rather feel nothing.

Are we talking physical or emotional pain? I would definitely rather be physically numb than in pain. However, I would rather feel emotional pain than just be dead inside.

Pain. I suffer from several ailments and am in pain daily. It is a struggle, but it beats being dead, hope to keep in pain till 95.

It must be awful to feel nothing...so pain. At least you would know that you still existed!
