I wouldn't throw myself at a guy that is throwing you mixed signals. As for your friend, I wouldn't hate her but maybe let her know how you feel. Some girls are jealous of their friends and try to steal the spotlight. And some guys think that it is a game he is playing, it is like he is medling with your friendship.

Every female has her intuition, I would go with what you feel, but please don't throw yourself at him. who knows you might find that he isn't all that he is cracked up to be, or you might find someone better that won't be throwing you mixed signals.

Good Luck! I am sure things will turn out for the best!

If she is a true friend, she will back off from your romantic interests, unless you are the kind of girl who is interested in every single guy, ever.

She may be telling you the truth. Does she know that you like him? If you both actually like him, and you are both good friends, you should probably both back off from him in order to preserve your friendship.

It may be hard to do, but, girlfriend/boyfriend type relationships are quite often short-lived, but a friend who would back off from a guy that you both liked would be worthy of keeping for a lifetime.

Good luck! (If she won't back off, she's not a good friend, and you should move on, and do what you want with the guy.)

I think you should talk to your friend about how much you like him and how much this means to you. If she's a true friend then she'll see how much you want this and back down. If not then you'll just have to get in there before your best friend does. Keep flirting and don't let anything hold you back, if he flirts back then you should propose a date A.S.A.P because your friend might get in there before you.
Good luck!

propse him a date asap! and continue flriting. If hes really interested in her like he says he'll do something about it. In the mean time talk to her and specifically tell her you liked him first and that she should respect that.

its not fair that shes getting in the way. but if you tell her how you feel and shes your best friend she'll understand.

Well, my friend did this too me! I liked this boy and of corse she went out with him for 4 months and kissed him tons of times! I found out that she was not really a friend! If your friend does something like that i guess she is not really a true friend too me!

i have the same problem, my friend is in love with this guy named max, but...so am i.
max doesnt like her or anything, but we've been friends forever.
even when she was still waiting for his answer i kept my, love for him secret, just because i wanted her to be happy.
i told her yesterday and she was fine with it.
if your friend is going to get angry at you just because you like the guy she loves, or if the guy picks you or...whatever.
then she's really not that good of a friend.

tell her you like him and have for (insert how many months.days.years here) and try to sort something out! The same thing happened to me and my best friend so we had a deal that we wern't allowed to ask him out but if he asked either of us out we could say yes.

Share him. Best friends are more important than cute guys.

If she's truly your friend, you wouldn't try to start a relationship with this gentleman. Since she's already informed you that she likes him, it would be cruel of you to try to begin a relationship with him after being aware of her feelings toward him.

Oh, girlfriend! Don't let a man come between you and your friend. Women's rule #1! Let him go. If he likes you and not her, he'll come to you. If he likes her, he'll go to her. It's not a life shattering dillema. You'll find another guy to super like.
