In islam muslims can marry their cousins it says it in our holy book.i love my 11 yr old cousin and im 18 and i want to marry her someday.now why do all americans hav to say its incest it may be in your country and religion but why say it to me when my country and religion allows it and im gona marry her someday.wil the age difference be ok.even if she wasnt my cousin.to those against cousin.

The problem is not a moral one...but rather genetic. When two people who have a close genetic code have children, it can cause real damage to that child. Birth defects, primarily mental defects are the rule, not the exception. So do what you will, but there could be real physical consequences if you have children.

Actually, you can marry your first cousin in the U.S. Only certain states allow it, but it is possible. Massachusetts is one example of a state that permits marriage between first cousins.

As for age, that varies state to state. I am not aware of any situation in which one can get married under the age of 12. There are plenty of states where one can marry at 14 or 16 though, but it generally involves parental permission or consent from a judge.

we don't get it because it is incest in America or any other country no matter what your religion said's if you look up the word incest it will tell you this "sexual intercourse between closely related persons" which is what a cousin is as for the 7 year difference no that is not a big deal once she is 18 and of legal age
