This was (I believe) made for Christian TV and the movie was basically about what the world would be like; and what would happen if, Jesus had not come into the world when He did but arrived in present times (Jesse).
He was persecuted by United States political figures and wound up being nailed to the side of a barn by a ruthless businessman.
Can't remember much more than that. Not a great movie but an interesting premise.

I'd recommend Life of Brian as interesting take on the first coming.
I think the movie you're talking about is The Judas Project, available at Amazon (isn't everything?).

I thought you were talking about the movie Joshua (excellent, by the way) until I read your description. Never heard of that one
you can contact TBN and ask them. They're pretty good about answering questions about Christian TV movies.
