ooh, 10 as in age...Yea that woman who said stunt your growth is clueless, theres nothing in stretching and flexing that could possibly make your genes malfunction.

Yes it's possible. Heres the backround info you need. First off, tons of people have incredibly nice abs, but they're covered up by fat. If you have a little bit of extra fat on your stomach, it'll cover up your abs. Battle this by losing the fat, and strengthening your abs to make the remaining fat stick to your body, to give you a toned look.

Now heres how to get the strong abs. You have to do crunches, and lots of em. Sit-ups work, but they focus way too much energy on your hip flexors, not giving you much of a ab workout. There're tons of different types of ab workouts, many for each different section. You have the upper abs, lower abs, obliques and sides. Obliques and sides might be the same haha.

go to www.exrx.net for some ab workouts, if you can't find them, just do crunches, side crunches and leg lifts. A good solid ab workout for me would be 8 straight minutes of different ab excersizes

Everyone has abs, Korkster. But if you mean muscular abs, at 10?? I guess you could, but why?? Unless you are training for a sport with serious aspirations, I cannot even fathom this being an issue. Be a kid for cryin' out loud. Gosh, I wish I could have as little to worry about as abs at 10. I know I must sound like an old fart, but since I have a tweener and two other younger kids, I know what I'm talking about. Ride your bike. Play ball. It only gets harder from there.

I am 13 years old, 5'4'' and 100 pounds. I am currently trying to lose about 10 pounds. This is what i do:

Breakfast- Oatmeal (about 140 calories) and Skim Milk (75 calories)
Snack- Granola Bar (100 calories)
Lunch- Sandwich and Fruit (300 calories)
Snack- 1 cup of blueberries w/ Splenda (80 calories)
Dinner- Salad with eggs, cheese, meat, a little bit of dressing and chicken breast (400 calories)
Desert- Blueberries w/ Splenda (80 calories)

Exercise- 1 hour of PE (running, exercise, stretches, etc.) and 100 crunches, 50 ups per leg, and 30 pushups at home

Well thats what im doing right now and I think it works. You should try this and you should see results in a month. I know its not really fast but its a healthy and safe way to lose weight. Also, its not really dieting because its yummy. :] I hope this works for you!
