It really depends on their ages. Assuming that they have attended Sunday School or something similar and have a basic knowledge of your religion (how I hate the word religion), it is their decision if they don't believe. You cannot force your beliefs onto others. There is no point in trying to force the issue, that'll only turn them against even more. Always be there for them. Love them, support them, encourage them, help them. Show by example.

Religion is a personal thing..As a parent, you can only give guidelines..It's never been a problem in my family..My children made up their own minds and seem perfectly comfortable with their choices..To clarify,i believe in God,some of my offspring do not..Or,undecided !!

My mom shrugs and keeps me in her prayers. She comes to me when she needs help understanding the Bible or other church teaching. She comes to me when she needs spiritual counseling.

Which is all kinda funny since she's a devout charismatic Roman Catholic and I'm an atheist. But, I can hold the hypothetical long enough to help her so I do.

Its there choice i would offer them any help in checking out any religion they wanted to know about, and if they had no interest that's fine, true religion, real faith is allowing others to make up their own mind and not brainwashing them, or forcing them in to something that i believe

My responsibility as a parent is to teach my child "in the way which s/he shall go". As a parent, I can point the way and live a life consistent to my faith.
Free will will always be available to every human being.

When s/he is out of my house, paying his/her own bills, s/he can pursue whatever spiritual path s/he desires.

Everyone has free agency. Would continue to practice my religion and hope that by trying to be a good example of living my standards that they will learn and grow.

I would respect their decision. Everyone has free will and although I may desire for them to believe as I do, I can't force them to. I'd love them no less.

Put them over your knee, and 'teach' them with a hairbrush that they should believe. Believe me, they will within 5 minutes... It worked with mine...

Teach them what I believe, but don't force it on them. If they're really young, I would make them go to church with me (can't leave them alone at home), but if they're say teenagers it is their decision. God believed in agency, so should we.
