Hey, if somebody doesn't want to think something, then that's a good sign it isn't true. Remember that as a rule for life.

You are right, Adam and Eve did not evolve from any other species. The fact is that in order for evolutionists to truly believe that evolution is correct, they must make assumptions that are not supported by the science.

However, having said that, there is a strong case for evolution for those who do not believe that God created the heavens and the earth. There are very strong indications that evolution could be true.

I think the real problem is that the story of Adam and Eve is filled with symbolism. And while I do believe that Adam and Eve were the first humans on earth, I do not believe that the earth was created in 6 earth days.

The fact is, the Bible says at one point that a day to God is like 1000 years to us. I don't know if that should even be taken literally, or if that was just a symbolic phrase to indicate that God does not see time that same that we do. Therefore, the earth could be any age in terms of earth years. Additionally, the Bible tells us that animals were created before Adam and Eve. Making very good sense as to why animals predate humans on the earth. Additionally, we know that the Garden of Eden did not encompass the entire earth as Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden. They had to have some place to go if they were cast out. In my opinion, the Garden was just a relatively small portion of the earth.

So, all the things that occurred while God created the earth and leading up to the time that Humans were placed on the earth is entirely up to science to discover until the day that God Himself can explain it all to us.

1. The word is Evolution.
2. Adam and Eve could not possibly have been the first people on Earth. If they were, who did Cain, Abel and Seth have children with? (The Bible says that Cain fled to the land of Nod after killing Abel and found a wife there, but how could there be people there if the only other people left alive were his parents? Seth had not been born yet)
3. We did not evolve from monkeys (or even apes, who are more intelligent, and don't have tails), we share a common ancestor.

Yes, Adam and Eve were the first humans, and they were created by a loving creator.

Those who choose to believe the theory have not used their brains to the fullest extent to realize that the possibility of evolution actually happening is mathematically impossible. For example, if an organism had transformed from asexual reproduction to an organism that reproduced sexually, it would die before there was a suitable partner for reproduction. We still see this fact today, homosexual couples can not reproduce.

This planet was created, it did not just happen as a result of a huge explosion. If you continue to believe this, then make your own explosion ans see if you can make anything other than a mess. We have many explosions around the world on a regular basis, and they always cause damage and death instead of resulting in something better or new life forms.

Take a look at real science.

Most people who believe in evolution don't believe that we came from Adam and Eve, although there are a few who believe that God breathed life and a soul into apes, making them human in that fashion. It's my understanding that the word used when God created humans isn't the same word that is used for the rest of the creation; the rest of the creation story uses a word that indicates instant appearance, while the word used for the creation of man indicates bringing it about from the dust.

How would we know that Adam and Eve are the first humans on Earth? I know the story is in the Bible, but who was there to witness it, and therefore tell the story about how THEY were created? SOMEONE had to see it to know how it happened, right?

Adam and Eve are fictional characters. The story is a parable.

See, the error in your conclusion is the presumption that Adam and Eve were the first people on Earth...

I think you're supposed to spell it "evilution".

I have never met anyone who believed that "Adam and Eve evolved from being monkeys". I hope to heck you don't think a statement like that has anything whatsoever to do with evolution.

rofl. No. Adam and Eve didn't exist. And just because you're denying evolution doesn't make you right.
